iPad Sound Prism Smart Cover Speaker is a new portable speaker for your new iPad. Designed by CRE8 Design, it has a triangular space created when the Smart Cover is folded back. It has been designed to magnetically attach itself to the new iPad’s Smart Cover and then rolls up within it. When it is not being used, the speaker are pushed back into the triangular body. It features Bluetooth connectivity which can be used with any device that is equipped with Bluetooth. unfortunately there is no information as to whether this concept will ever make it to stores.

Yesterday, we have heard that the ITC – International Trade Commission had ruled that Microsoft’s Xbox violates some Motorola’s patents, and it seems that it is Apple’s turn now, as the ITC has ruled that some iOS devices violate Motorola’s patents.

As per the ruling, both Apple’s iPhone and iPad violate Motorola patents which is related to WiFi, although the judge did find that the devices did not violate 3 other patents owned by Motorola. This is just a preliminary ruling by ITC and the next step is for the ruling to be reviewed by ITC judges.

There had been lots of iPad mini rumors this past few weeks and the latest is that the iPad mini will ship in the third quarter of the year in order to lay the smack down on upcoming Windows tablets according to a Chinese Website. Another rumor which came from NetEase, hints that the smaller iPads will cost between $249 and $299. They also reported that there are 6 million units ready at launch. Production will be handled by two Asian manufacturers: Hon Hai (Foxconn) and Pegatron. Honestly, We really have no way of knowing if there is any truth to all of this at all, but this info is consistent with other reports that Apple is working on a 7.85-inch iPad. Anyway, regardless if this is true or not, When we hear more we will let you guys know.

The new iPad will be released first in South Korea, Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela on Friday 20th. On April 27th, it will then be released in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.

We have heard lots of rumors about this upcoming iPad mini. The latest is that this iPad mini will employ a a 7.85 inch touchscreen display. According to Daring Fireball’s John Gruber, Apple has a 7.85 inch iPad in their test labs, and this could be the iPad mini with a screen that is capable of rendering up to 1024 x 768 pixels of resolution which is just like the iPad 2. It is said that this device is just a prototype, so there are no details on whether we will ever see a smaller iPad go on sale. But then again, it seems that Apple could at least be considering it if the have a prototype in testing.
