Shazam is a popular music identification app that makes use of your smartphones’ microphones to gather a snippet of music being played. Then, it will create an acoustic fingerprint based on the sample, which is then compared against the central database for a song match.
The app can now recognise a song and tell you what it is, in just a second or even less than a second. Other features include, a redesigned UI, and it now allows users to comment to tags and share on either Twitter or Facebook.

The Shazam 5.0 is now available as a free Shazam app and as a Shazam Encore and (RED), both $6. Alex Musil, EVP Product for Shazam explains:

“We are committed to continually enhancing the Shazam App to ensure we deliver an industry-leading experience,”-“With the release of Shazam 5.0 for iPhone and iPod touch, Shazam fans will be able to get the information they’re looking for almost instantaneously, giving them lightning-fast access to content and a deeper experience surrounding the song, TV show or TV advertisement they have just tagged. Shazam delivers the fastest and most exciting way to discover, explore, purchase and share music, access more content about television shows, and get more information and even buy products and services from the world’s leading brands.”

It has been created to transfor you Apple iPod nano into a watch so you can wear on your wrist.

Conceived by Edwin Conan, this provides an innovative solution for wearing your iPod nano, not on your wrist, but also in your pocket, using the iPocket Watch concept.

“Last year Apple updated the iPod Nano 6th generation with additional watch faces in its watch function. One of which is the classic roman numerals. Such a classic watch face needs a classic watch case to match and celebrate, and the most classic watch of all time is, of course, the pocket watch. The idea of turning the iPod Nano into a multi-touch, multi-function, high tech, modern day pocket watch was born.

The classic men’s watch will always be the pocket watch. While everyone else wears the iPod Nano as a wrist watch, why not bring a bit of yesterday to your style and distinguish yourself from the rest of the world by fashioning this admirable iPW (iPocketWatch)?”

They continually provide their users with the best computer gadgets and computer applications. They were the “first” in launching remote desktop in iOs. This is indeed good news for iPhone and iPod Touch users. Let us dig deeper on this recent development for iOs.

The development in Mac’s operating system is indeed a breakthrough in the computer industry. Carter Harrison LLC was the one who released WinAdmin to iTunes. This particular application lets you manage and interact with your Windows computer through iPhone and iPod Touch.

WinAdmin uses RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol). This application allows you to connect to Windows Server and Windows OS Desktop in your very on Apple gadget. Remote desktop in iOs is now running version 1.2.2. In this version they have made the necessary adjustments to be able to correct the previous mistakes to enable its end-users to maximize the applications in its full potential. Some of the features in the recent version include:

• The resolution graphics are better. This feature can be appreciated more with an iPhone 4.
• They have made the necessary adjustment with regards to the drawing issues that was addressed before in the older version.

Splashtop has recently launched their version of the WinAdmin. This particular application allows the end-user to enjoy PC-to-PC and PC-to-Mac remote access through WIFI and other private networks at no extra cost. There is no need to transfer and convert the files if you are running Splashtop. This particular application can also be downloaded to your iPad.

Mocha VNC Lite has joined the bandwagon as well. This application allows you to remotely access your Mac OS X and Windows OS respectively. The most recent version of Mocha VNC Lite is version 3.0. This particular version has fixed the configuration problems that were present in the previous versions.

Indeed the developments in remote desktop in iOs are mind-blowing. I wouldn’t be surprised if more and more IT experts will develop their own version of the WinAdmin.

Apple sales in Chinahave increased six times in the third quarter of fiscal year, 2010-2011 to 3.8 billion dollars, an amazing performance if we think that the Americans have only four stores inChina.

Apple Inc. should improve its sales strategy inChinaif it wants to cope with huge increase on this market sales, believes industry experts consulted by the largest Chinese newspaper, “People’s Newspaper”

If Apple’s total income grew by 82% in the third quarter much of the performance is due toChina, representing about 10% of them. Although Tim Cook, Apple’s COO said that the Chinese market is only “scratched the surface” of Apple, analysts believe that Americans will not meet its own success. “If I look at Apple’s ‘s long-term development inChina, I have great doubts that he will be able to support sales,” says Lu Libin, analyst at Analysis International Company.

The main problem inChinais that Apple has four stores, which achieve daily sales of 35 million dollars. For comparison, inU.S., a country with a population four times smaller, there are 236 Apple stores. Lack of sales, plus launch of new products delay inChina(iPhone 4 was released with a 9 months delay) have made Apple products to be in high demand on the black market. Officially, the iPhone 4 costs 540 Euros in April (almost the average monthly salary of most developed Chinese regions) and sold on the black market at a double price.

Apple currently has a market share of 7% on the Chinese market of Smartphones, which last year meant 19 million units

Have you ever missed appointments because you forgot which calendar you stored it in which Apple device?

This fall, Apple will release iCloud, which will store your music, photos, applications, calendars, documents and more by pushing your content on your iPad, iPhone, iPod, Mac and PC and keeps it all up to date across all your gadgets.

What’s more, when you sign up for iCloud, you automatically get 5GB of free storage that does not include your purchased music, apps, books, and Photostream so it frees you to use the 5GB it comes with for all the other things that make up your life.
