Apple’s Mac OS X Lion Release Date is still not yet confirmed, however there are news circulating that it will have a better privacy controls. The OS 10.8 is otherwise known as Mountain Lion, and its 2nd Developer Preview unveils some snippets of what to expect with this OS in terms of privacy.

The Mountain Lion was seen to have a dialog box for permission to access your contacts, which is a feature that was notpresent in older OS X versions. Its security preferences have been changed as well to reflect all your apps that have granted permission to, they feel the need to.

These features seem to be a response to iOS privacy issues, as it was discovered that apps can access and pull out users’ contact information even without their permission. This update is still missing in iOS 5.1, and it seems that Apple is obviously making some move to increase users’ privacy controls in desktop systems.

It is almost sure that Apple will release the new MacBook Pro during 2012. Some blogs did have the prediction to April as a release date for MacBook Pro. With the launch of iPad 3 and the Apple Tv, it’s not likely that April date is met.

Mountain Lion For Developers Preview has already been made available, but the real question is when will Apple actually release the MAC OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion this 2012. The public macbook pro 2012 release date  is scheduled for “Summer 2012″ , as per posts on both Apple’s Mountain Lion site and was mentioned by Apple’s marketing chief Phil Schiller. It has been a year after the release of OS X 10.7 Lion, and this indicates how fast, Apple is cranking out new OS versions. Mac OS X Lion Release Date was on July 1, 2011. I don’t know why there are still people looking for answers online as to when this was released. Again, it was released a year ago, and this Mac OS X Lion is being marketed as OS X Lion. Just so you know, this OS is the 8th and is the current major release of the brand’s OS X. It is made for desktop and server OS for Mac computers. As far as i can remember, it was revealed at Apple’s “Back to the Mac” event on October 20, 2010. It offers a better navigable display of installed apps to  Mac computers, and comes with support for Mac App Store. Way back in February 24, 2011, the preview of Lion for the developers (11A390) was released to the Apple’s developers program subscribers. Lion Preview 4 (11A480b) soon followed and was released at the WWDC 2011.After 3 months of its release, it has sold 6 million+ copies worldwide. Cool huh?

The new version of iPhoto was released in it’s version 9.2.

iPhoto 9.2 is 357.18 MB and requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 or OS X 10.7.2 or later.

Compatibility with iCloud, some new gestures and bug fixes have been added.

Mac OS X 10.6.8 has released new updates for their system. Apple provided the newest revision for those who have upgraded Mac OS X Snow Leopard. They can be downloaded and they are the following:

Yesterday they turned 3 years after the launch of what would be the largest application online store in the world but also an industry standard. On July 10, 2008 Apple launched the App Store with IOS 2 and an iPhone 3G that would be available starting July 11. App Store has grown in three years reaching to host today more than 425,000 applications and collect over 15 million downloads. App Store application launched on July 11, 2011 was present in more than 200 million iPhone terminals and will surely be present in the next generation to be launched.

So far Apple has approved more than half a million applications, but over 75,000 of them were either withdrawn by the developer or by Apple. 100,000 applications for iPhone are available in App Store and the number is growing every month. Without the App Store IOS the iDevice’s would not be as loved by hundreds of millions people who have purchased such a device and I hope that over another three years to talk as beautiful about the App Store.

Another neat iOS5 feature is that the iOS5 allows you to tweet directly from Cameras, Safari and Youtube in your iPhone and iPad, deeply integrating Twitter into the iOS5 interface.

As soon as you log into  Settings, all sorts of Twitter-friendly activities become possible.

Took a photo recently that you want to share to the world? From Camera, you can type a text and then immediately tweet it to your contacts.

Saw a video on Youtube? Found a neat website on Safari? All you have to do is to hit Tweet and it is shared to the rest of the world. This eliminates having to copy and paste it on a multiple of applications.

The possibilities are endless with the tie up of an Apple operating system and Twitter social media. Facebook may have to come up with something to directly compete with the future the Apple and Twitter collaboration has created.
