The MADDEN NFL 12 by EA SPORTS For iPad is the latest American football game published by EA.  It is a good thing that the developers decided to create an iPad version of the game since there are millions of iPad owners Worldwide. For sure, this will be a hit and that’s why we decided to write a review of the game, so you will know beforehand if it’s the game for you or not. Let’s start with the gameplay. I have tested the game on my iPad 2 and I am a bit disappointed since it was choppy and there’s a sluggish framerate issue. For me, this is a huge downfall, and I do hope that there’s a fix for this very soon.  Yup, the essence of the game is there, and it’s quite realistic. The options are easy to follow, and you will get a hang of the game easily by just playing through it.   The biggest change here is how you play the game. The graphics has been improved. There are lots of eye candy cinematics like the introductions to the game. Take note: each team has unique entrance onto the field and it is the same on how the the teams do it in real life. Cool huh? The Stadiums are very accurate and it’s as if you are watching the Monday Night Football, on your iPad. While not photo-realistic, the graphics of the new the MADDEN NFL 12 by EA SPORTS For iPad are visually rich and colorful. I also like the ambient crowd and field-level , as well as the commentary. Overall, I give this game a rating of 3/5. It should have been 4 or 4.5 if the gameplay is smooth and there’s no lags and framerate issues.

This week, Apple has started sending out emails to its Mac App Store Developers to introduce its new Developer ID scheme that they have created. The new Developer ID scheme has been made for those who don’t want to distribute their Mac applications on the Mac App Store, and provides them with a way to prove that they can be trusted.

Apple explains:

“The Mac App Store is the safest place for users to get software for their Mac, but we also want to protect users when they download applications from other places. Developer ID is a new way to help prevent users from installing malware on their Mac. Along with Gatekeeper, a new feature in Mountain Lion, signing applications with your Developer ID certificate provides users with the confidence that your application is not known malware and has not been tampered with.”

Apple has acquired Chomp and it seems that Apple could have some big plans for the said service, as it would appear the group behind Chomp will now be working in Apple.
